Edward T. Tonai likes to code. A lot. That's pretty much all you need to know right now.
Haven't gotten the hang of this being unemployed thing yet.
Went to the eastside for lunch with ex-coworkers, did not go to the gym, spent more than an hour on the exercise bike while watching _Return of the King_ and playing Oblivion, read a bit of _Blink_, watched more of _Return of the King_ and played more Oblivion, went to the grocery store, did some organizing and maintenance on my computers. Did not sleep in.
No coding or coding related activies. No job search activities.
As of a couple hours ago, my (second) contract at Microsoft ended, on schedule.
So now, I'm unemployed. I'm going to turn this (tonai.net) into a regularly updated blog during my unemployment. I should have plenty of time.
I don't expect any of you to enjoy reading my blog. This blog is for me, to help keep myself active and to a schedule. I hope to update this daily, in the evenings, and to talk mainly about what I did during the day. At least, that's how this will start.
See you tomorrow.
Sketchwright is my newish blog.
I explain the blog there, but basically it is a blog about sketch comedy, with a focus on sketchwriting. There are also some reviews. Well, right now, there are actually more reviews than anything else, but reviews aren't the focus. I review live sketch comedy shows and some video sketches (with links to the videos).
I don't expect much of an audience for my blog. I'm guessing the main audience wil be sketch comedians with whom I work.
I am no longer an active member of the Pork Filled Players, as of yesterday. I was with the group for 7 years.
Anyone have any plans for very early Sunday morning? If not, listen to Sandusky Radio's Gary Shipe interview me and Roger Tang! We talk about our upcoming sketch comedy show, Lard & Order: Pork Filled Intent (10/19 - 11/3)! We also talk a little bit about sketch comedy and Asian American Theatre. (I was sick when the interview was conducted, so forgive my low energy and raspy voice)
